Heidi loves a location shoot but sometimes it’s a Challenge for many reasons.
So she devised and shared a concept with me, I crafted a custom digital background using a mix of AI-powered tools and Photoshop exactly how Heidi wanted it to be lit.
Heidi used my AI generated background as an overlay during the live shoot, which enabled her to precisely match the lighting on both the models and the food— then I was able add both elements together, ensuring a seamless blend between the real and the digital. We love a lighting challenge 💥
AI is a hot topic right now, and it’s fascinating to be integrating these tools while still collaborating closely with a full creative crew on set.
Heidi is a strong advocate for photography rights, she fully supports and endorse industry initiatives like the MAKE IT FAIR campaign.
It would be a major step forward to see clear legal frameworks established —so that artists can continue to create freely.
We want to embrace new tools with confidence that copyright is protected.
Creatives aren’t here to block innovation—we just want to ensure that copyright laws evolve alongside technology to keep creativity thriving.
